What are nationalities of students?

From china 60%,Korea about 20%,Taiwan15%,Singapore,Canada,Russia,U.S.A. and so on.

Does it take lessons every day?

Lessons on Monday to Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and public holiday are closed.
In addition, spring holidays (3 weeks). GW (5days), summer holidays (2 weeks), winter holidays (10days).

What time is a lesson start and finish?

Either a morning class or afternoon class, depending on a class.
A morning class 9:15-12:30, An afternoon class 13:30 - 16:45

What sort of people are teachers?

They are all native Japanese, and very excellent teachers with abundant experiences.

What kind of textbooks?

20-30 books are used in a year.

How fluently will I be able to speak Japanese?

After studying for 1year and half, most of students will pass JLPT N2 or N1./
After studying for 2years , most of students will pass N1.

Life

What if I got sick or got injured?

It goes to a hospital with a national health insurance card. If there is an insurance certificate -him of medical expenses - a burden is 30%

Can I use other languages at a hospital?

There are Hospitals which can offer medical service in English, Chinese and Korea in Nagoya area. If a student needs assistance, a staff of ECC will help him/her as an interpreter.

Visa

How long is a college student visa?

One year, can be renewed at longest two years.

Can I go back during the summer vacation temporarily?

After informing ECC your tour, you must get a permit of re-entry.

Are there any part-time jobs?

There are lots of restaurants and conveniences stores around the school. Most of the students work at restaurants as hall staffs or cooking assistants.

Is permission required to worked at part-time job?

Only people who have a student visa can get working permission from ECC and the Immigration Bureau.
ECC students require the following to obtain a permission.
1. After three months when you entered ECC
2. 90% or more of lesson attendance
3. Pass tests
